Dolphin error when ctl-x ctl-v a file

KDE Neon, Plasma 6.5.2

This started happening on update to plasma 6.5 I think.

In Dolphin, select a file, clt-x, go to a different directory, ctl-v. It shows this error:

“Could not rename file <original directory/filename>.”

Do ctl-v again, and it then pastes correctly.

I did your steps and no problems in openSUSE TW.

Just want to say I’m getting the same issue very consistently. I need to redo all my cut/paste all the time.

Cut, move to another place in another window or same one, paste. Fails. Open the original one separately, cut again, paste again, works. It’s bad.

Is it in a smb:/ directory ?

Might be:

KDE Frameworks Version: 6.19.0

This particular bug is fixed with KDE Frameworks 6.20 (or 6.19.1).

I think it is this bug…

… which is also fixed in KDE Frameworks 6.20.
