Dolphin infrequently appears to revert filename replacements, until refreshed

I have noticed that ⪅ dolphin-26.04.3-1.fc44 appears to cache names, even on Non-Volatile Memory Express storage (accessed via Generation 5 Peripheral Component Interconnect Express), such that if I replace the name of a filesystem object, it may appear to immediately revert, until I refresh the viewport. Does a bug exist, for this?

If that happens in search result views, it could be https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=392456

Folks will find it easier to read and help if you use common, easy-to-read ways of writing as opposed to the most “technically correct”. For example, it’s hard to read the way that you wrote the program, version number and drive type - writing in a commonly understandable way, like “Dolphin version 26.04.3 on Fedora 44…even on an NVMe drive”, makes it much easier for the folks you are asking for assistance to help you.

@johnandmegh, I have not noticed it in search results, although that may be because I barely search outside of KFind. Rather, I was describing replacement of an index node’s name in the “Details” [1] view. If it matters, I rename via the separate window, rather than inline.

Regardless, thanks for the advice, although because I work with Fedora so much, remembering not to utilise RPM syntax shall be difficult.
