Would be nice if in Dolphin one could select a different iconpack then the system default.
Yes, I would like that too. For example SteamPunK looks great for files but doesn’t suit for the most other places.

the only icon I want to change in the entire desktop is the folder icon.
but I only know how to the install the entire papirus icon set and you get all kinds of weirdness, especially when switching themes, it keeps the dark icons when switching back to light mode and I have to restart the app.

This is not a bad idea, but is Carsten888 using an older version of Dolphin, on my version 25.04.2 that option is removed.
They edited the screenshot for illustration purposes. You can see the radio boxes are misaligned in the edited image.
