Dolphin: Remove file details from preview pane to enlarge display

I am evaluating Dolphin for my team. They need PDF previews. Is it possible to somehow hide the details below the preview so that the entire vertical space is available for the PDF?

I can hide individual rows in that table, and even hide all of them, but then the details still consume space, albeit being empty:

Any ideas how to maximise the area available for the actual file preview?

hi, welcome.

all the stuff below that line is configurable if you right click on the area.

however no matter how many things i remove from the list the display area remains, even if it’s blank.

as i cruse thru several other types of files different attributes appear in that space, and no matter how many i turn off, the area remains in the panel.

tried looking for files that get written after saving changes to what is checked for display in that area to see if there was an rc file i could just edit, but only /.local/share/dolphin/dolphinstaterc seems affected

there is some cryptic key value pair that seems to be related, but no idea what to make of it

looks like DNA to me.

it would probably be worth a report at bugs.kde.org to mention that the display area remains in the info panel even when blank

Thanks for your time. I file a report: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=513407

Funny thing is that I have an account there already. My password manager says the password was last accessed … 2000-12-15. That is 25 years ago to the day. That just put a smile on my face

bug free (to you) for 25 years…

streak broken.

yeah, uh, more like “haven’t used KDE in 25 years” but
