Dolphin tabs restored to their parent directories after restart?

Hi - is anyone else having an issue where, after restarting your device, Dolphin reopens with each tab navigated to the parent directory of what was loaded before?

For example, I had Dolphin open with 3 tabs, at ~/Documents, ~/Downloads, and ~/Pictures/Screenshots. After restarting to apply updates, it reopened with 3 tabs opened to ~, ~, and ~/Pictures.

I haven’t been able to do much troubleshooting myself yet to know if it’s a distribution packaging bug, config issue, Dolphin bug, etc., but wanted to check if anyone else was seeing this to maybe get a lead on where to start? I’m on Fedora 43 KDE Plasma Desktop Edition, Dolphin 25.12.2, Plasma 6.5.5

Thanks!

I don’t have problems in Dolphin with the update.

i would try

turning off the restore tabs feature in dolphin,

closing all the tabs,

exit dolphin,

delete cache folder

relog

then try turning the restore tabs feature back on
