how to make thumbnails permanent in dolphin

what do you exactly mean with thumbnails in Dolphin? What is it you are trying to get? Maybe you can send a picture to show it.

You mean have the thumbnails visible for any folder you visit by default ?

You can edit the default view settings with the dialog that opens from:

And the checkbox at the bottom “Use this view settings by default”.
