Dolphin video animated previews

Hello,
I am using KDE with Garuda Linux. (I posted a help request at Garuda but no reply).
Before my last update I used to get an animated video preview (about 5 frames) when I hovered the cursor over a video file. Since the update I get a single image as a video preview.
How can I get the video animated previews again ?
I am not very Linux technical. Thanks for you help and patience.

Seems I have this issue as well. Previews are on, so I see all the video thumbnails, but hovering over any of them with the cursor does nothing.

This feature worked in KDE5. According to Google AI, the devs decided to drop it because it was too resource intensive. It would be nice if it was an option. I really liked it and miss this feature.

It works for me in 6.5.2. Maybe trusting google AI was a mistake.

I don’t even own a cell phone

Indeed it is plain wrong.
LLMs will make things up when they don’t know.

It is not active in all context, notably network filesystems as this is very data intensive IIRC.

What format is the video using ? We might have some limitations regarding this.
