Dolphin wont show PNGs in side-panel previews

It’s not showing any PNGs in the side preview window. Jpegs an some other formats show as they should. They will show in the preview of the folder just not on there own. I would report this as a bug but I figure I should start here first. Any ideas.

This is a bug, it will be fixed in next KDE Gears update.

as a workaround, try disabling the PNG option in settings > interface > previews.

An yes that oddly works to a degree bit slower but it works just fine.
