Domain : Simplified ID input

Hello.

I have joined a machine to the domain in my business.

I can connect correctly but there are 2 steps I would like to free myself so that users (children) can connect more easily.

  • Currently, when the graphical login page appears, you have the icons of the local users already created that appear first.
Then click on “Other…” to see the login and password fields
I would like this page “Other…” to appear by default,

  • Once on the correct login page, it is necessary to enter the domain before the username.
    Type domain\user
I would like the connection to be done by default on the domain without having to enter it before the ID.

Hopefully this is possible…
Thank you in advance for any attempt to help.

Operating system : Ubuntu Studio 24.04
KDE Plasma version: 5.27.12
Connection theme : Breeze
KDE Frameworks version: 5.115.0
Qt version: 5.15.13
Kernel version: 6.14.0-33-generic (64-bit

That concerns RDP connection, remote connections ?

Nope I don’t think so.
I would like to

  • tweak the log in screen in order that it would load directly to the "other” screen
  • enter the only ID of the domain users in the ID field, instead of typing domain\userID.
Pictures sometimes stronger than words :

”Other…” button red circled.
