If you use Google calendar you know that for making a new event the most convinience form it’s by left click on the start point of the event and then drag the mouse to de end point wich will be make ot once yo drop the mouse button. This feature on merkuro calendar will be a game changer for any user trying to left the google ecosistem that uses the calendar.
Sorry for my bad english, I’m not a native speaker.
merkuro is still very much a work in progress and is relatively new compared to korganizer.
but i don’t think even korganizer has that sort of feature.
i agree it would be nice to be able to create a new calendar event by just dragging a rectangle over the hours in the day view and have it pre-fill those times on the create page when it comes up after you release the mouse button.
maybe the pre-fill could be to the nearest 1/4 hour mark from where you started to where you let off.
Actually Korganizer already have this feature but not at all, the event end point it’s only marked when you press enter besides droping the click. Also, another feature related that Korganizer have it’s the option to edit existing events with the same logic by draging the edges of the event.
The pre-fill with the nearest 1/4 it’s also how Korganizer manages this and it would great to have the same on Merkuro.
