It would be nice if Dim Inactive could be configured to ignore windows playing videos. Alternatively I could configure some applications to be ignored by Dim Inactive such as mpv or free tube.
Currently I have to full screen a video to allow the video to not be dimmed. However I don’t always have a video on full screen.

You have some hints on The Universe of Discourse : Controlling KDE screen locking from a shell script although many things have been somewhat renamed, the dbus parts haven’t.
Good to know the functionality is possible within the system. I’ll have to figure out how to edit Dim Inactive to include to read those dbus functions.
