Error: physical layout false, rawOrder false and an area does not work well together

I had baloo file indexer disabled for hibernation reasons, but I just enabled it again for testing with balooctl6 enable and got the following errors displayed in the terminal window (after the command had completed). I can’t seem to find any info on them. Anyone know what this is about?

qt.qpa.services: Failed to register with host portal QDBusError("org.freedesktop.portal.Error.Failed", "Could not register app ID: App info not found for 'org.kde.baloo'")
"Error: physical layout false, rawOrder false and an area does not work well together"
"Error: physical layout false, rawOrder false and an area does not work well together"
"Error: physical layout false, rawOrder false and an area does not work well together"
"Error: physical layout false, rawOrder false and an area does not work well together"
"Error: physical layout false, rawOrder false and an area does not work well together"
"Error: physical layout false, rawOrder false and an area does not work well together"

why not just turn on the file search in the settings?

does that not work?

That does exactly the same thing as balooctl6 enable. I prefer the terminal than navigating menus. But that isn’t the problem, the errors are.

i wouldn’t say it does the same thing, but it does have that effect.

it might be doing other dbus things as well, i’ve not looked at the .qml
