What exactly happens with this video effect: Exposure?
If you set the exposure value to > 0, the image becomes brighter, similar to when you would have exposed it more brightly, but still different: the deepest shadows remain unchanged, as you can see in the RGB parade: min remains at 0.
And what exactly does Radius do? Moving the slider to the right shifts the histogram to the right and darkens the image, while the extreme brightest areas remain unaffected.
You can see very clearly what these sliders do, but I think it would be helpful for me to understand what the sliders actually do.
When is Exposure the right tool? Should it only be used for videos with grossly incorrect exposure, or also to bring out the finer details in well-exposed videos?
