Long-time Solus Plasma user here. I use the hibernate feature to shut down machines that I’m not using for a while, so I don’t have to do a lot of setup (loading virtual desktops, starting a lot of applications, etc.) when I want to use it again.
Solus has included Plasma 6.1 in its most recent weekly update, and since that update I’ve run into problems with wakeup from hibernate. The symptoms are many, including loss of Bluetooth connections, non-responsive Vivaldi opening with a dark grey screen. And when the Bluetooth connections are lost, nothing short of a complete shutdown and restart will restore normal operation.
Regressing my Solus update to the previous one (containing Plasma 6.0) seems to work fine, but there are good reasons to want the latest update. I used Plasma 6.0 for a long time, hibernating every night, with no such issues. The first night I hibernated with Plasma 6.1, these problems started.
Does this sound familiar to anyone here? System is DELL Latitude with 16 GB memory, 25 GB swap, and plenty of SSD space available.
