Faulty monitor settings not allowing me to see full screen. How can i make kde zoom in?

Kind of hard to explain if you dont know what i mean but

if my screen is supposed to look like this

what i actually see is this

on my main laptop monitor its fine but on my secondary tv montor it looks like this. And due to this tv being a hand me down i dont have a functional remote for it.

Is there a way that for the second monitor i can add black borders around the screen, sorta like what hollow knight does sorry that i dont have a better example of what i mean

image of what kind of feature i am looking for prefferable on a monitor to monitor basis

The feature you’re looking for is called “overscan”. You can find it on the Display & Monitor page in System Settings.

Is this a new feature?
Im on debian 13 and it didnt show up display and monitor page i also just tried searching for “overscan” in the settings search and couldnt find it like that either. I checked on both x11 and wayland

i did a little more digging and in this post mr. zamunda said its an intel cpu thing. He said that eventually it could become a compositor feature but i take it that hasnt happened yet?

i have a 12gen i7-12650h and a rtx 4050 laptop gpu
