I can highlight text in okular. It would be really helpful to be able to overwrite or delete existing highlights.
If I highlight in pink, highlighting over it with yellow writes over the pink, but not the other way around.
you can delete or edit the highlights from the annotations tab of the side bar.
there is no, direct selection of annotations from the pdf page, afaik.
when i tried to highlight the same text with first yellow and then pink, i get orange … same happens when i reverse the order (orange).
couple of things i did notice tho:
- there is no indication which highlight belongs to which annotation
- when you delete an annotation, the listing rolls back up and you have to open it again.
I don’t see a way to delete or edit a highlight from the annotations tab:
I have some text highlighted in yellow. I selected that text. Nothing (that I can find) in the annotations tab says “delete” or “edit”.
