Currently, Kdiff3 it seems does not handle remote filesystems such as smb or ftp, etc.
When I paste in something such as smb://username@computer.local/myshare/mystuff
into etiher a b or c to “compare” I get back
Unable to create KIO Worker. Unknown protocol ‘smb’
I use kdiff3 a lot to compare directories on my cachyos machine. It seems to work fine for locally mounted media such as drives connected via usb or internal mount points, just not remote mounted media. Is it possible support for this could be added???
regarding my test machine, i’m using cachyos running kde plasma 6.5.5 with wayland and kdiff3 1.12.3
