After returning to Linux 12+ later, this is one of the few little issues that I am still trying to resolve.

I have turned transparency on for the taskbar in “Panel Configuration”..no change. Changed the global theme to a “Transparent Theme”…no change (all other parts had transparency but not the taskbar). Changed back to “Breeze” Theme and also tried the “Fedora” Theme…nothing works.

Any ideas ?

Had the same issues like you have. To get transparency you need to choose the “right” plasma style (e.g. glassy). You could also install the Panel Colorizer widget which allows you to customise your panel a lot more, including a transparent and blurry preset.

I have installed “Panel Colorizer” but its not playing along ..at this stage. I keep working on it.

I had to remove and add the “Panel Colorizer” before it worked properly, but now its functioning and Transparent taskbar works now…thanks.:+1:
