I successfully downloaded FEREN OS but the FireWall is disabled as well as sudo. Looks to me like it needs configuration. I am just a home user evaluating possible replacements for windows 11. Friends and family are counting on me to research Feren OS. Is there a work around or does someone need to configure the firewall for me? I do not have a password and I am unfamiliar with the firewall software. Was this just meant for businesses? How do I get support for FEREN OS firewall?
I’m pretty sure that this is either the wrong place to ask or at minimum off-topic, considering that that appears to be an obscure rebuild/soft derivative of Ubuntu and that you appear to be having issues with non-KDE software. I’d suggest either looking into a distro like kubuntu (which is basically just ubuntu with KDE, so should be similar to what you’re currently looking into) or Fedora (which has releases with KDE) or finding a place more focused on that specific distro.
Feren seems to include both a firewall and sudo but as others point out this forum seems to not be the right place to ask about Feren.
