File save pull down menus on toh top of windows

Hi, I suddenly discovered that the pull down menus of file etc. on the top of windows of many applications disappeared. How can I correct this annoying problem?

press the alt key.

ctrl-m will toggle these off and on, at least for KDE applications.

Very often these can also be found under the “More” section in the three-bar “hamburger” menu.
