Flathub / Flatpak question

I noticed one of my Flatpak packages was rebuilt 8 hours ago yet the version is exactly the same as the version I had installed that was built many months ago. Why would a package be rebuilt for the exact same old version?

The package in question is BleachBit: Install BleachBit on Linux | Flathub

As you can see, it’s still the same 4.6 version that was released 8 months ago, yet was freshly built 8 hours ago.

Is there a sensible reason for that?

Perhaps the Bleachbit application version didn’t change, but maybe a configuration was edited, or something else included in the full flatpak package needed to be changed to fix a bug or something.

Which looks to be the case.

The same thing can happen on native packaging as well, though these will have an extra number or something added to the end of the software version that indicates a different revision.

As a side note, this is not connected to KDE or neon at all.
