Flatpak Kate and Meld - double open

Hi, I used:

sudo ln -s /var/lib/flatpak/exports/bin/org.gnome.meld /usr/local/bin/meld

so Kate can use Meld. But Meld opens two times. How this can be fixed?
ChatGPT tells nonsense.

What are the paths that the two invocation have ?

How can I get that info? Must be only one. Meld is installed only as flatpak and I use Silverblue, which I think does not have Meld on host
