Flatpak permissions missing from my System Settings in Plasma

System Settings > Application Permissions only shows ‘Legacy X11 App Support’. There is no ‘Flatpak Applications’. I have tried to install flatpak-kcm but it can’t be located. In the meanwhile I use flatseal. Any ideas?

Operating System: Debian GNU/Linux 13

Look for kde-config-flatpak

i have version 5.27.11 in the repo but its not installed by default on my plasma 5 kubuntu

why is that? it is not ready to replace flatseal?

seems like something that would be enabled by default if it was ready.

what does it mean that 3 packages will be held back?

Yes, that fixed it. Not sure why it was missing. I see it’s practically identical to Flatseal but it’s better integrated into Plasma, so I might as well remove Flatseal. Thanks!

The three packages are being phased by Ubuntu. Basically being released in batches, or to increasing numbers of people over a period of time.

The details button in Synaptic should show this. I think. Apt will.

but why would installing this package cause those three files to be held back?

i’m assuming here that they would NOT be held back if this package is not installed.

or am i reading that wrong?

These are completely unrelated.

Phasing is randomized as well
