Focus handling completely broken since Plasma 6.5.0 - Security Issue

Since 6.5.0, Plasma completely fails to focus security relevant windows. The pop-up for the ssh-key as well as gpg key does not get focused anymore, and keystrokes are sent to the wrong applications.

This has been working till 6.4 without any problems.

Is this to be expected?

Known bug. Use ‘Low’ focus prevention as a workaround.

It’s good netiquette to search before you post, that way you get answers faster and information and work doesn’t get duplicated. Edit: In your defense, the search engine appears to be broken

I searched the discourse and didn’t find an issue, but didn’t search the bugs, sorry for that.

Ok, for now I will set the stealing protection to low.

Sorry mate I made a late edit. As soon as I clicked send, I thought, “maybe he did search, and it just didn’t show up”… and so I searched for it, and it didn’t show up! Totally not your fault, my bad!

BTW, since all the focus stealing prevention/focus handling has been upgraded recently, ‘Low’ is a bit more effective than it used to be. Nate (one of the KDE devs) mentioned that it is the default these days, so hopefully it’ll work out OK for you.

Thanks, and no worries. I could have searched more, no question.
For now I have switched to low and all works as expected.
