Hello!
After thousands of non-functional pomodoro timers from other sources I just discovered that amazing Plasmoid/Widget named „Fokus“.
So far so good, added to the system tray in KDE Plasma 5.27.5 with Debian stable kernel 6.1 and MX Linux. My sound devices in general work, so I assume the actual problem is lying sonewhere else.
The problem is: neither in the settings of fokus, nor in the app itself, the ticking sound or start sound is working. The only sound that works is the one when a focus period ends.
As in the settings of fokus theyre named „notification sounds“ I searched in the Notification settings of plasma. Some time ago I unchecked all the checkboxes that made any sounds in the notification settings for „plasma workspace“ to not being bothered when listening music etc.
I checked the boxes back on but doesnt have effect on the problem.
Also I wanted to try different sound files for the sounds of fokus, just trying to find out the root of the problem. But I cant find out which file formats are compatible, do u know it? Any help is very welcome!
Anybody knows what kind of sound file is readable for this widgets directory so I can try other soundfiles as well. Maybe there is some reliable source for notificationsounds u can use?
How would u tackle this problem?
