Fresh install of Kubuntu 25.04 - KMM date format now incorrect

KMyMoney version 5.1.3

Have done a fresh install of Kubuntu 25.04 the other day. Now I notice the date format is not how it used to be - dd/mm/yy , but a USA format ?

Is this related ? - Fresh install of Kubuntu 25.04 - now some keys not working

I did look in the KMM settings/configure; it does seem KMM gets the date format from KDE. Yet there seems to be no option in the system/prefs to adjust ??

The system | Prefs ‘region & language’, the language is British English

The date format is okay now, as of a few days ago.

Backup ~/.pam_environment , then modify as follows:

LANGUAGE DEFAULT=en_AU
LANG DEFAULT=en_AU.UTF-8
LC_NUMERIC DEFAULT=en_AU.UTF-8
LC_TIME DEFAULT=en_AU.UTF-8
LC_MONETARY DEFAULT=en_AU.UTF-8
LC_PAPER DEFAULT=en_AU.UTF-8
LC_NAME DEFAULT=en_AU.UTF-8
LC_ADDRESS DEFAULT=en_AU.UTF-8
LC_TELEPHONE DEFAULT=en_AU.UTF-8
LC_MEASUREMENT DEFAULT=en_AU.UTF-8
LC_IDENTIFICATION DEFAULT=en_AU.UTF-8
PAPERSIZE DEFAULT=a4
