Frozen Plymouth Showing After Login & Logout

After logging in, a frozen Plymouth screen appears before it shows my splash screen. It’s just a singular frame of it. I have an NVIDIA GPU with proprietary drivers on a hybrid graphics system if that helps. It also happens when I log out, appearing in the same time period of after having logged out and right before it shows my login screen.

Is there a way to make it show my Plymouth screen’s animation, rather than it being frozen on a frame? If not, is there a way to hide it completely, so it shows a black screen in both areas, without disabling Plymouth?

The issue seems to be that the EFI framebuffer doesn’t get cleared after Plymouth exits and such when switching between the Login Manager and the actual session, for a small period it reverts back to the framebuffer.

Also in the case of an hybrid graphics with NVidia dGPU. Might be driver related (and might not be a KDE issue) as it doesn’t happen on some of my other devices.

The issue goes away if I enable only my NVIDIA GPU. I wonder if there’s any workaround for this, without having to disable my integrated graphics.
