What I find interesting is the comparison is being made with KDEnlive, like KDEnlive is the gold standard.
I think that says a lot about KDEnlive.
I agree. The interesting thing, though, is that in their other blog about the 22 best video editors Kdenlive does not show up even though OpenShot and ShotCut (among others) made the list.
Of course, the only reason they have their own blog talking about all the other available video editors is to have searches list their site. In all their blogs they refer to their own products. But I must give it to them: that’s a smart and cunning move to get into search results for Kdenlive. How they manage to come up on top is the secret of SEO.
They don’t come up on top with DuckDuckGo.
I notice that Advertisement is labeled Sponsored. So it will appear first… and can probably be removed if you use an Adblocker.
So basically it’s not an SEO thing, it’s just an advertisement.

In fact I was just seeing how many kdenlive posts are here and thought that it’s time it gets either its own category or some sort of sub-category 
And it’s not just the posts about problems or questions, a lot of people provide suggestions, answers, etc.
