Graphical Glitches in the bottem left part of my main screen

In unregular situations, mostly when I’m in fullscreen in my browser and scroll, watch a video or play a game the following happens:

  • In the bottom left part of my screen (see screenshot attached), I’m getting a graphical glitch where the background shines through.
  • Sometiumes its on top of the panal, sometimes its right on the panal

Additional Informations:
GPU: RTX 4080 Super
2 Monitor Setup
KDE Plasma
Different distos but same problem

  • Adaptive Sync is off!

I assume you’re on Wayland, so you can certainly test this:

Disable the KDE Plasma blur effects in System Settings > Window Management > Desktop Effects > Disable Blur

In System Settings > Display and Monitor, reduce the refresh rate to 120Hz or 60Hz on both monitors (if applicable).
Test: High refresh rates (144Hz+) cause flickering in the bottom panel in NVIDIA/KDE setups.

Always update your video card versions to check if the error is successfully resolved.

  • Setting both Monitors to ~120HZ helped.
  • Disable Blur didn’t changed anything.

Thanks a lot @csouzape !
