I have a niggle when I’m scanning, because sometimes the ‘autodocumentsize’ function is flakey, and if I’m after a 1200 scan it takes a long time and generates a large image.
So here’s the workflow…
I’ll scan at 150px and open with Gwenview, drag the crop… then I see ‘Size: 500 1029’ which is the pixel dimension.
I can then enter these numbers to scan only the area I want - but that only works at 150dpi.
But I want to scan at 1200dpi… so I want to enter the new resolution, but the dimension in mm to correctly crop at the higher dpi.
So a couple of questions - is there a lightweight viewer that will let me get this in mm?
Also - is it beyond trivial to enable a dropdown selection between pixels and mm for the dimensions in Gwenview which is my preferred tool for quick work right now.
