I have the latest bios that my motherboard has released and re installed cachyos still having hard freeze issues (have to restart with power button) with gaming on steam or just while even browing watching youtube/twitch and having discord open. I also had sleep issues but disabled sleep so that won’t happen anymore. I have come back to a frozen screen when monitor turned off but never went to sleep too. I can’t boot into LTS all I see is a black screen with a line RDSeed32 error.
I have tried disabling expo in bios still crashes.
Have tried x11 still crashes.
Tried disabling igpu still crashes.
Tried disabling c state in bios still crashes.
Ended up reinstalling fresh cachyos again but with Gnome this time so far so good no crashing at all which leads me to think its a KDE issue. I also made a cachyos discord support post named “Hard Freeze (lock up with audio loop) 9800x3D 9070XT” and people there also asked to try to disable wifi in bios and check but I have already set everything up with gnome and its working so have not yet tested that out. Just felt like sharing what helped fix my problem and maybe get more info as to why this happens or if anyone else has had this issue thanks! (sleep issues also fixed with gnome)
