Is it possible to have clicking on the application icon in the audio volume settings popup un/mute like with eartrumpet for windows?
hi, welcome.
in the system tray the mute/unmute button is right next to the icon (at the end of the slider).
you can also turn on the icon badge in task manager that will show when an application is playing audio so you can mute/unmute from there as well.
Or middleclick the volume thing in the systray
As I saw your post, I opened up the audio volume plasma, switched to applications, and middle clicked on the āwireplumberā icon, and it muted my podcastā¦
So yes, thatās not only possible, itās exactly the way it should be.
Middle clicking the tray icon will toggle mute for all applications (master mute).
It is unclear, though, what you mean by āin volume settingsā - because there are āvolume settingsā in many different locations⦠individual applications, tray appletsā¦
In the āSoundā kcm module, a left click will toggle mute.
