Hello everyone 
Writing in from Japan to introduce myself. My name is Kenichi, and I’ve recently switched over to KDE Plasma after years of bouncing between desktop environments.
By day I follow the currency markets and write up what I learn — mostly to keep my own thinking organized. The rest of my time goes to books, coffee, and trying to make my workspace feel calmer and more under my control.
KDE Plasma has been a real revelation in that last regard. The level of customization without sacrificing stability is something I hadn’t experienced before, and the attention to detail in apps like Dolphin, Konsole, and Kate is genuinely delightful.
Mostly here to learn, occasionally ask beginner questions, and quietly enjoy the company of people who care about thoughtful, well-built software.
