Help/Advice required: Printer(s) not listed in KDE applications Print Dialogue

Printers are not listed in KDE applications print dialogue, the only option is print to PDF.

I don’t believe this is a (KDE) bug per se, more likely “something” on my setup, but I’m unable to establish what, any help or advice would be appreciated.

I recently updated two openSUSE Tumblweed systems, which brought in Plasma 6. After which both machines exhibit this issue. Currently running:

Operating System: openSUSE Tumbleweed 20240319
KDE Plasma Version: 6.0.2
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.0.0
Qt Version: 6.6.2
Kernel Version: 6.8.1-1-default (64-bit)
Graphics Platform: X11
Graphics Processor: NVIDIA GeForce GT 1030/PCIe/SSE2

The printer is locally installed with a network connection.

The underlying CUPS system is, I believe, fine. Non KDE applications, Mozilla Firefox and Thunderbird, and LibreOffice Writer list the Printer in their print dialogue and documents print without issue.

KDE System Settings → Printer shows the printer correctly:

The printer widget shows the printer and I’m able to access the print queue:

At the moment I’m somewhat at a loss as to know where to go with this…

Best Regards,
Paul

Edit: Aha, as a new user I’m restricted in the number of images I can post. Remaining screenshots available if required.

Resolved.

Due to an openSUSE packaging error, “qt6-printersupport-cups” was not installed.
