HELP! I cant right click my desktop

After editing my plasma-org.kde.plasma.desktop-appletsrc to remove a phantom widget i stopped being able to right click on my desktop!

found a fix,
delete this text and reconfigure in settings

If you can now right click on your DE…what fixed it?
