While browsing the forum, I came across the “Share your desktop” thread in the Community section; in particular, post 5 (I cannot include links in my posts for some reason, will enclose a copy of the image here):
Directly to the left of the system tray, there is some type of hardware monitoring widget/plasmoid, I rather like its clean out of the way look; long story short, would anyone be able to identify it, I have looked through the store, but don’t seem to find anything there that matches it?
Ok, but - would you, or anyone else be able to give the names of the specific widgets that were used, then (they do look rather uniform, by the way, if they really are individual ones ), I, for example, have System Monitor Sensor active at the moment, but don’t see an option to configure it to look this way?
Well, I suppose the input comes from the same sensors anyway… it was more what the output looked like that I was after. Judging by the date in the image, this should be Plasma 5, not 6 - maybe this is some widget that has not been ported over?
At any rate, thanks for the suggestions given, will have a look at what can be done.
Truth be told, it does - thanks for pointing this out… For some reason, though, I can only get it to display either the temperature or the name of the device (maybe I have made the panel too narrow? ) - and, indeed, it only displays temperature - might be nice to have some indicator of the usage levels as well…
