How can I fix an annoying behavior/setting in the Kate editor?
The word character set seems to include character
/
ie. backslah.
Are this considered part of a “word”?
It’s really annoying.
that’s a slash, not a backslash but both are commonly used as word separators just like the hyphen.
seems that only the underscore is treated as part of a word instead of a word separator.
not sure if this is configurable somewhere or not, but it seems you want to kate to treat these word separators as their own word because the alternative is how the underscore is treated and words like under_score are treated as a single word instead of two words separated by a word separator.
