How can I get rid of the blue color in Konsole?

I’ve tried many global themes, but none of them changed the blue theme in the Konsole application. How can I do this?

Did you ever think to look at COLOR schemes instead?

probably one of those global themes changed your colors and didn’t undo those changes properly when you back them out.

one of the big reasons i don’t play with global themes and just use breeze.

breeze just works and i don’t have to deal with there little quirks.

if you create a new users is everything ok over there?

First of all, thank you for your response. I discovered that this issue is related to KDE’s application style setting. When I select a different application style, the colors in the Konsole application also change.

The first method I tried was color schemes, but they only change the text and background colors. Thank you for your response.

It’s worth adding: creating a new user account also resolved the issue.

You can try a zillion global themes, if you do not understand it’s defined by the color scheme, well….And it’s absurd to try a new user for this type of thing. In the end, you’ll end up with….a zillion users for every “prob” you encounter.

So, konsole>settings>color scheme

Haha - not exaggerating there at all  create a fresh USER and test…

Though OP appears to have created a new USER and abandoned the OLD user… I’m curious if it’s just a language problem.

Ben? A language problem? Sure, I crossed the channel and ended up in Langdon, Kent. Piccadilly or Worcestershire my a.s. This “try a new user” thing? Gimme a break.

Renaming .config and creating a new USER are the simplest way to remove issues - but suggesting someone create a new USER to see what’s what doesn’t mean they will create zillions.

OP narrowed the issue down to the plasma config - and creating a new USER helped them isolate this issue, so what’s the problem?

New update: I just happened to notice the Color Scheme setting that Dzon mentioned, and it worked. Thank you all for your help.
