A regression on my workstation where spectacle would immediately crash on startup. I suspect the bug is related to VAAPI encoder being used by spectacle.
Since I used spectacle regularly, I would like to either downgrade Spectacle to a stable version or use another KDE screen capture tool that supports Wayland.
How do I downgrade to stable version safely without messing up KDE or the integrity of EOS?
If the bug is in RadeonSI driver and/or Mesa stack is dowgrade helpful?

Prefer downgrading to the closest possible version. The lower you go, the higher the chances of mismatched libraries.
It should not break anything other than spectacle itself, as it is not depended upon by other thingies.
Just make sure not to downgrade any of its dependencies while doing so.
