How do I quickly move a clip to the start of the timeline?

I’ve cut a segment from a clip.
Now there’s a huge gap between the remaining clip and the start of the timeline.

Is there a way to move the clip to either:

  • The start of the timeline, or
  • The end of the a clip on the same track

… without manually dragging?

(Sorry, I know this a probably a basic question, but I’ve done a google search for this, and wasn’t able to come up with anything)

Right-click on the space in front of the remaining clip and select Remove Space …
