How to add an asteroid not already available in the catalogs of KStars?

Yesterday, I wanted to observe asteroid (152637) 1997 NC1. However, it is not available in the catalogs of KStars and I didn’t find a way to add it. Is it possible?

Have you read Kstars Manual page 29 Adding/Editing Objects?

Thank you for pointing this page of the manual. Unfortunately, it is for DSO, this asteroid, like planets, needs more than RA/DEC in J2000 to be located in the sky.

You might need to adjust the magnitude of asteroids to download and then update the asteroid orbital elements. I could find it in KStars then.
