I want to disable having to click the apply button to apply settings, and have settings automatically apply (this is the default on Windows macOS and other DEs)
i don’t think that is something you can simply disable… probably would require a complete rewrite of code for each settings module.
can’t see this ever happening, honestly.
XFCE on something like xubuntu would likely be a better fit for your work flow needs.
