How to bring browser to the fore when clicking on links in Thunderbird?

There’s another setting in FF regarding opening links in tabs. Switch to that tab…something. Can’t check if that puts FF in the foreground.

Ha! It’s a Ubuntu Snap after all!

A bit “deceiving” if you look at what’s presented in Discover:

Hmm - I’m not sure if that would make a difference for this particular issue, but if it’s a big one for your daily use, it might be worth trying out either a native manually installed version from the Thunderbird website, or the Flatpak?

Did try Flatpak.
Was unable to resize message window.
Always somethin’

Not the end of the world, but annoying.

Native version is last straw to try…

Thunderbird .tar file installed.

Hyperlinks open in Firefox as expected.
Email message view is flexible, as expected.

Problem(s) solved.

Phew!
