Hi,
Im wondering how to change the ip address of a vpn profile in kde settings via bash scripting.
kde just wraps networkmanager for those vpn profiles, so do it with nmcli.
nmcli connection show
tunnel address:
nmcli connection modify “Your VPN Name” ipv4.method manual
nmcli connection modify “Your VPN Name” ipv4.addresses 10.8.0.2/24
nmcli connection up “Your VPN Name”
if you meant the remote server host instead:
nmcli connection modify “Your VPN Name” vpn.data remote=NEW.HOST.OR.IP
paste nmcli connection show “Your VPN Name” if it errors, and say if its openvpn / wireguard / whatever.
