I am running the 0330 version because I am affected by the login bug on the recent updates I’ve tried. However I’m afraid that with a couple more updates, which could have problems, this working copy would march off the end of the boot image list and be removed. It there a way I can make sure it sticks around?
It’s a good question. Right now we don’t have a feature to pin known-good builds. We probably should.
However as long as you update the system while booted into the good build, it won’t be deleted.
In addition, you can manually delete known bad builds. They live in two pieces:
/system/[something].erofs, which is the OS image/boot/EFI/Linux/[something].efi, which is the kernel
Identify the build number of the bad build and delete the file with that number in it in each location.
