When we create many virtual desktop and enter grid view to navigate they appear to be in a single line wasting a whole lot of space and also making it hard to see content on that virtual desktop. You might say the solution is simple just increase the number of rows of virtual desktops but here is the point when we do so, pager on my panel becomes unusable due to too many small rows. If you don’t understand what I am trying to say then please look to at similar feature implementation in cinnamon desktop, they have provided the option to increase number of rows just for visual effect in in the grid view.
