how do you designate or cusomize the startup screen in skrooge 25.10?

Hi,

The File is in “/usr/share/skrooge/images/splash.png”

Yes, you can use any image, but it must be named “splash.png”.

The problem is that message text is also displayed at startup, overlaid in yellow on the image.

To disable the startup screen completely, you can do so in “Settings - Configure Skrooge”.

However, my problem with OpenSUSE 16.0 is that Skrooge then doesn’t start correctly. I have to reconfigure all the settings after every startup. Everything works normally with OpenSUSE Tumbleweed.
