How to prevent mpv going sleep during playback?

Hi,
Could someone teach me how to prevent mpv going to sleep during playback?
I’ve configured the mpv to use dmabuf-wayland and only that will go into sleep during playback however using gpu-next for the vo it won’t but I lose the HDR playback ability with it and the power consumption is way too high with gpu-next, so my question is if there is a way to prevent certain app going into sleep when active?

Normally mpv seems to ask for sleep inhibit all by itself so it is surprising that it doesn’t work for all VO backends.

You could try with a wrapper script that uses systemd-inhibit to call mpv with sleep being inhibited.
