How to remove the seekbar at the bottom of project monitor, especially in full screen mode?

Hi, I’m having a hard time getting true fullscreen preview in kdenlive, there’s always a seekbar at the bottom of the project monitor, even in full screen mode.

I searched for an answer to this online for hours now and only found an unanswered comment of someone having the same issue on reddit.

All the guides I find to have “fullscreen preview” in kdenlive end up using the project monitor on an external monitor, and there’s a seekbar at the bottom of the project monitor that is always there and doesn’t seem to be removable, which prevent the video from filling the screen.

You can disable that setting a shortcut for Monitor Info Overlay. Fullscreen the Project Monitor and toggle the shortcut, and you should see the info disappear.

This is not possible with the current version. With the upcoming version 26.04 monitor mirroring is possible that shows the the preview without the seekbar.

That’s odd. As far as I can remember, I’ve been able to get true fullscreen in the Project Monitor using the method I’ve provided above.

Thank you very much! It does work!

:+1: Glad I could help.
