Previously i was in Plasma 6.3 and there was no outliner for panels. Now i’m on 6.5 and there’s this ugly(with dark theme) white outliner, how do i remove it?
Also now each time the floating panel appear it has strange moving white outliner at the top but when panel is fully shown it’s gone. It creates feeling of junkiness.
I’ve at least figured out what’s causing this graphics glitch. I have a 25-inch/1440p monitor, and I usually have the image scaled to 120% (where this bug has been occurring since the last Plasma update). My laptop only has FullHD and no scaling, so there’s no glitch there. So I set the scaling on the 25-inch monitor to 125.5%, and the glitch disappeared. So, it’s related to a less common scaling setting. However, that doesn’t mean the bug is fixed, because I’d really like to have the 120.5% scaling back. I’ve already sent an email to @ngraham with a description and submitted a bug report on https://bugs.kde.org/. Let’s wait and see…
I see, i have 145% scaling and also made a bug report but without this helpful information.
After i’ve changed scaling to 150% or 140% i no longer see white border AFTER panel appears however DURING hide/unhide animation i see white line on the side that looks inside the screen(in my case down for the top panel and right for the left panel).
Yes I had this and it’s something to do with the Blur option in Desktop Effects. Disabling that removes it for me but the only down side is you lose the blur in the windows. Why window blur is affecting a panel is another issue, possible bug.
